During our enriching job shadowing experience at the Oval Partnership, we had the privilege of gaining valuable hands-on experience and showcasing a comprehensive understanding of the multifaceted aspects involved in the field of architecture. This immersive opportunity not only expanded our knowledge base but also instigated the development of a meticulous thinking process tailored specifically to the role of an architect. Collaborating with them on a real-life project allowed us to delve deeper into the intricacies of their profession and gain insight into their creative problem-solving methods. Our interactions with seasoned specialists further enhanced our comprehension of the pivotal role played by architects in society.
We were also impressed by their attention to detail and ability to balance functionality and aesthetic appeal. Additionally, we observed the architects' commitment to sustainable practices as they discussed incorporating eco-friendly materials and energy-efficient solutions into their projects. Witnessing their seamless integration of technical expertise with artistic vision was truly inspiring.
We are grateful for this opportunity and believe that the knowledge gained will benefit our future endeavours in the architectural industry. This experience has provided valuable insights to determine if studying architecture aligns with our aspirations.
