In this job shadowing experience, we first presented the works we had created in the past as an art portfolio and a self-introduction for our mentor to know us better in terms of personality, field of interest in art, and art styles. We were also assigned to try out new software such as Blender and Figma, which are the basis for industrial use software for designs. Through individual counseling and group discussions, we could share ideas and discuss areas to improve. Our mentor also shared her portfolio and taught us to describe our work that caters to the client's needs to increase collaboration opportunities. She also talked about her projects and tips as an illustrator/graphic designer in the UK. Last but not least, in the Q&A session, we explored the art culture in the UK and the lifestyle of an illustrator/graphic designer, gaining valuable insights.
